How boxes drop

Every full 10 minutes of mining gives you a 1 in 20 chance of a box. On average, that is one box for every 3 hours 20 minutes of mining. Up to three boxes wait in their slots, and no new box drops while all three are full.

Boxes only drop while a session is mining. A full session waiting to be claimed isn't mining, so claiming on time also keeps the boxes coming.

How to open a box

Start a box's 1-hour timer, one box at a time, or open it right away by watching a short video. Every box looks the same from the outside: what's inside is decided the moment it opens.

Bad luck doesn't last: an Epic or better comes at least once in every 20 boxes.

What the extras do

Boosts mine ten times faster for 15 minutes. Boosts from boxes start first, need no wait and don't count toward your 24 a day.
Speed lasts 24 hours from the moment you open the box. It carries across sessions and adds up with other boxes and with your team bonus.
A streak shield saves your daily bonus streak on a day you miss, so you keep climbing instead of starting again at day 1.

How to get more out of your boxes

Keep a slot free. With three boxes waiting, no new one drops. Open them as they come.
Keep a timer running. Start the next box's 1-hour timer as soon as one opens.
Claim full sessions quickly. Boxes drop only while you mine.
